IVC PFV, LLC, an entity controlled by Investcorp International Realty, Inc. and Lincoln Equities Group, a New Jersey based owner, investor and developer of commercial real estate, are pleased to announce that they have recently acquired the Princeton Forrestal Village, an award-winning, amenity-rich mixed-use development consisting of approximately 550,000-square-feet.

“Lincoln Equities Group sees the Forrestal Village as an exciting opportunity in the high-growth sector of mixed-use communities, located right in the heart of Central New Jersey along the Northeast Corridor transportation line, and next door to world renowned Princeton University,” commented Mr. Daniel Ackerman, senior director of leasing, Lincoln Equities Group. “As the economy continues to rebound, we believe we will see more opportunities of this kind become available across the state of New Jersey. Additionally, with the relocation of the 630,000-square-foot University Medical Center of Princeton to Plainsboro, we recognize the desire for medical groups to be in close proximity of such an amenity and are actively engaging this constituency.”

“Princeton Forrestal Village will provide substantial in-place income in addition to creating value and upside as we lease vacant suites and convert some retail vacancies to medical office use,” noted Mr. Joel Bergstein, President, Lincoln Equities Group. “By way of example, ownership has recently completed a new lease transaction with Surgical Specialists of Princeton for a total of 12,400-square-feet.”

Prominently situated on Route 1, the area’s primary highway, Princeton Forrestal Village is a 42-acre mixed-use campus consisting of 10 freestanding office, retail and restaurant buildings, which offer an incomparable mixed-use environment and is easily accessible to the area’s main thoroughfares, amenities and public transportation. Originally built in 1987, the Village underwent significant capital improvements in 2007, and now offers a synergistic ‘lifestyle’ environment featuring pedestrian bridges, fountains, serene tree-lined streets, courtyards and picturesque gardens. Other amenities include a first-class 294-room Westin Hotel and Conference Center (under separate ownership), three upscale destination restaurants—Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Salt Creek Grille and Tre Piani—a 61,000-square-foot CAN DO Fitness/ Koi spa salon, a 12,700-square-foot food court as well as a newly developed 9,750-square-foot daycare center.

Recognized as New Jersey’s premier mixed-use, office, retail and restaurant development, Princeton Forrestal Village is home to a number of prestigious tenants, including: the Luxe Home Company, Calico Home, Planet Apothecary, Exquisite Bride, Harmony Daycare, Chinyee Art Studio, Edible Arrangements, Monday Morning Flower & Balloon Company, as well as Princeton Dance & Theatre Studio. Additionally, the state-of-the-art complex is within close proximity to Princeton University’s James Forrestal Campus, Novo Nordisk, Dow Jones/ Wall Street Journal, Bristol-Myers Squibb and many other major large and mid cap corporations.
